Borderless World Foundation (BWF), a Pune based NGO established in 2002 working in Jammu & Kashmir, working on health, education and conflict resolution in the remote conflict-prone regions between the borders of India, China, and Pakistan. BWF has helped change the lives of hundreds of girl children orphaned in the conflict alongside working with all local stakeholders. BWF has managed to provide a safe haven for the girls and establish trust to promote peace and wellbeing through its several initiatives.

Our Role: Helm’s role in supporting BWF involves revamping their communications, and project coordination. Additionally, Helm facilitates meetings with potential funders and resource persons to aid in BWF’s resource mobilisation efforts. Throughout the engagement, Helm works to enhance BWF’s organisational capabilities and project management support to align with their evolving and expanding work.

Highlight: Helm supported BWF in raising a total of Rs. 4.5 crores for the construction of the 300 bed girls’ hostel by setting up crowdfunding campaigns on Milaap and by connecting the NGO to funding organisations. Helm provided BWF with editorial advisory for their CSR proposal with a leading national bank under which BWF has secured INR 3 crores funding.
