About

Headstart Network Foundation India is India’s largest grassroots level organization that supports entrepreneurship and startups.

Since their inception in 2007, they have built a grassroots level ecosystem in 25+ Indian cities and organized over 1,000 startup events focused on networking, mentoring, hiring and fundraising. Their work has played a role in getting over 10,000 new ventures off the ground. Some of the young startups that made their early-stage demos on their platform are now unicorns. Cumulatively all these companies created over 20 lakh jobs and added over 48,000 crores to the Indian economy.

What Inspired Us To Work Together

We chose to work with Headstart because of their value-driven work ethic and their contributions to the grassroots development of the Indian startup ecosystem. We aligned because of our shared values of integrity, open ecosystem and community first approach.

What they do:

• Capacity building and enabling support to startups, incubators, and accelerators.
• Advising national and state governments in regards to startup policies.
• Bridging relationships between startups, investors and corporates.

How We Helped

We partnered with Headstart first in 2017 for Oddup launch in Bangalore, followed by co-execution of RedBull Basement University in India 2018 edition and 2019 edition.

We are currently involved in an ongoing year-long transformation study for scaling and institutionalising Headstart Network Foundation to deepen and widen their base simultaneously.
