Shashank Randev comes with an entrepreneurial and investment background, having 10+ years of cross functional experience. He has worked in large companies, a startup (acquired by a Fortune 500 Company) and with an early stage fund investing in tech enabled startups.

Currently, he is a Member of Executive Committee at People of Indian Origin Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PIOCCI) - working with reputed Indian diaspora entrepreneurs, investors and associations across the globe. He is also an Angel Investor with a keen interest in emerging technology startups.

Previously, Shashank was the founding member and Vice President of VCCEdge, the data platform by VCCIRCLE. He led revenue, product development and growth initiatives for close to seven years at VCCEdge. VCCircle was acquired by News Corporation in 2015 where he served as business head for the division until 2016. He has also worked with NIIT Ltd. and Zensar Technologies Ltd.

Shashank holds an undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Engineering from Nagpur University and an MBA from International Management Institute (IMI), New Delhi.

People of Indian Origin Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PIOCCI) is a Global Business Platform and not-for-profit initiative which works closely with reputed entrepreneurs and Indian diaspora associations across the globe.

More specifically, PIOCCI endeavors to network with Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), People of Indian Origin (PIOs) and their business enterprises with regards to exploring, helping, orienting, hand-holding and setting up businesses in different states of India. Registration & About Startup Grind Fireside Chat:

We expect a mixed bag crowd consisting of Startup Founders, Working professionals/ startup enthusiasts, investors or veteran startup community facilitators, members of the startup ecosystem, students, etc.

The Fireside Chat is for 45 minutes with a 20minute Q&A. A 2-3 hour event at best, with pre and post session networking offline. Nature of conversation covers personal and professional journey, in an attempt to share the human side of the journey- in a non watered down, brutal, honest and straight forward mannerism.
