Irshaad Presents Storytelling Open-Mic
Storytelling has been one of the oldest traditions and an art form, found in all the cultures and civilizations around the world and even predates the written language. Some of the greatest epics and works of fiction have been passed on since generations through this beautiful oral tradition. It seems stories never leave us, they are always happening around us, somewhere.
After a roaster of fairly enriching and exciting poetry open mics, Irshaad brings to you it’s first story telling open mic. There will be only 20 slots available for the performers and each performer shall get 7-8 minutes to narrate his or her story. The narration can be in any language found comfortable by the performer and should be an original work of fiction or an original work based on a real life incident (we do not appreciate plagiarism). Any hate speech or inappropriate language is not welcome. No entry fees, pay by heart only. An early bird gets an early slot.
We invite all the storytellers and writers out there to come and share with everyone their original works and be a part of this one of a kind experience.
