Altā - A Creative High

A creative space to eat, drink and celebrate the beauty and vibrancy of art! Our venue encompasses elements of both visual and performing arts, from street, abstract and digital art to music and dance. We have collaborated with local artists and organisation to showcase talent and creativity in all forms; to provide a platform and create a community.

We are a troop of storytellers, artists, designers, humanists, activists, scientists, all-in-ones, coming together - to build safer and braver communities.

Artists for the evening:

Jackie J Thakkar will be your host for the evening, keeping you entertained with some incredible poetry, feel-good brand of comedy and extreme self-awareness on stage!

Neethi Anne Dorairaju & Hasan Baldiwala will bring you the best of English pop/jazz/indie songs, with a twist - Playing on the Ukelele and Guitar, nothing short of magic 
(Music Feature) 

SXonomics is a feminist satire band that uses drama, spoken word, music and audience-inclusive performance. The brainchild of Idea Smith & Dr. Ishmeet Nagpal, SXonomics aims to make feminism a fun, relevant way of thought and life.

Aparna Krishnakumar & her Collective will take you on a journey through your favourite commercial/sufi/old classics/indie Hindi songs with a variety of contemporary instruments! 

We will have Hindi and English music, and a sprinkle of poetry through the evening. You do not want to miss this!

PS: The night will carry on post 11 pm, with some 
Throwback-Friday vibes. We will have a DJ playing you your favourite Shaggy, Barbra Streisand, 50 Cent, the best of the 90s and early 2000s shall be brought onto the dance floor.
